Giacobbe Fragomeni (born 13 August 1969) is an Italian professional boxer. He is a former WBC and European Union cruiserweight champion. As an amateur he won the 1998 European Amateur Boxing Championships in the heavyweight division. ==Professional career== Fragomeni turned pro nicknamed ''Gabibbo'' in the cruiserweight division. On March 12, 2005 he won the WBC International Cruiserweight Title by defeating Brazil's Daniel Bispo in the Mazda Palace in his hometown of Milan. on November 17, 2006 he challenged David Haye for the EBU (European) cruiserweight title, with Haye winning via TKO in round 9. On October 24, 2008 he won the WBC Cruiserweight Title by defeating Rudolf Kraj in the Palalido, Milan. He fought Krzysztof Włodarczyk on May 16, 2009 and fought him to a draw after twelve rounds to retain his WBC Cruiserweight title.
